Mr David Gateley, Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr David Gately is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He has a special interest in facial aesthetics, Rhinoplasty and complimentary rejuvenation techniques including Fat Transfer.

Mr Gateley trained in General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery before starting his career in plastic surgery. Having worked at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton and Guys and St. Thomas', London, Mr Gateley also gained a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship in the US, achieving UK certification of higher surgical training in plastic surgery.

Outside of his clinical work, Mr Gateley is committed to supporting the next generation of plastic surgeons. He continues to teach in the field and has developed links with Nepal, where he delivers both education and surgery. Mr Gateley spent 32 years in the NHS as a plastic surgeon at St George’s Hospital in South London, Europe’s largest teaching hospital.
