Mr. Mohiemen Anwar, Consultant ENT Surgeon

Mr. Mohiemen Anwar is a Consultant ENT Surgeon working from London. He specialises in all areas of ENT treatment, with a particular interest in Rhinoplasty, nasal trauma and reconstruction, as well as reshaping the nose structure.

Having completed his medical training, Mr. Anwar undertook his surgical training across London at Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Marsden, The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and The Royal London Hospital. His specialist training focused on developing his skills in Rhinology, Facial Plastic Surgery and Anterior Skull Base Surgery. He has also been awarded a PhD in Molecular Oncology and Gene Therapy from Bart’s Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University, London.

Mr. Anwar prides himself on delivering the highest-quality patient care, conducting friendly and thorough consultations, and achieving exceptional surgical results.

Outside of his private practice, Mr. Anwar is a successful Consultant ENT Surgeon within the NHS, treating adults and children. He has introduced several new technologies and services to his clinical practice and is developing a bone-anchored hearing aid service within his NHS Trust.

Mr. Anwar is actively involved in medical education and the training of new surgeons. As well as organising St Bartholomew’s Hospital’s ENT training courses, he has also played a major role in establishing the St Bartholomew’s Introduction to ENT course for junior surgeons who are interested in the field.

Away from his clinical work, Mr. Anwar is passionate about charity and medical aid. In 2016, he participated in a charity mission in Jordan, assessing children in refugee camps on both sides of the conflict and providing medical assistance and equipment to those in need. The mission assessed over 2,000 children, and over 500 hearing aids were dispensed.

Mr. Anwar is married to an Arabic folk singer and is a devoted father. He is also a talented tennis player, having won several tennis trophies for his junior club, school and university.
