The skills learned at reception are integral to the patient journey and is the connecting point to most all department.

This is why so many of our Front of House team progress to other areas of the business using the skills they have learned

The role is a rota role, Monday to Saturday, flexible but usually hours are spread over four days.

Our healthcare assistants (HCA) assist our clinical staff in providing nursing care of the highest quality to patients. This role suits those who enjoy being on their feet and those who are interested in establishing good relations with Consultants, patients and colleagues on routine care matters

Many of our Healthcare Assistants end up moving on to take up nursing degrees after several years with us.

We offer a mix of early, late and long day rotas to suit individual preferences

The Pre and Post-operative (or Ambulatory) nurse role is a one that requires close cooperation with patients at all stages of their surgical journey with us so suits a individual with ward experience and who enjoys interacting with patients on a daily basis.

The role is diverse and includes:

  • Support on Clinical Governance

We offer a mix of earlies, lates and long days to suit the preference of the team member

This is an opportunity to work with surgeons and theatre teams that are among the best in the world in the plastic surgery field and unique for those who wish to specialise in this. The primary role of our theatre team is to ensure the safety and care of patients within the theatre department and with a more personable touch.

Our Theatre Nursing roles are split into four categories

  • Scrub Nurse
  • Anaesthetic Nurse
  • Recovery Nurse
  • Operating Department Practitioner

Our Theatre Team usually work 10 hour shifts over four days but shifts are flexible and there is good overtime opportunity at enhanced rates.

Our telephone operators are the first point of contact we have with each patient, receiving inbound calls from across the world. It’s a friendly and varied environment that is involved in all areas of the business and therefore is an excellent starting point to learn the business and to progress onwards at  a later date

Our patient advisors are split into two specialisms

  • Surgical
  • Dermatology and Non-Surgical

These roles require close contact with our plastic surgeons and dermatologists and act as the first port of call for patients looking to book an appointment with us.

You then support each patient throughout their journey with the Clinic, from initial enquiry to discharge, ensure that the service they get is to the Clinic’s high standards, field their questions and queries throughout their journey with the Clinic and follow-up patients post-operatively to assess their happiness with the outcome of their procedure

Our theatre reservations team are tasked with the scheduling of our theatre slots. In practice this involves liaising with patients, surgeons and anaesthetists to administer theatre bookings, and ensure the daily, weekly and monthly schedule runs smoothly.

This is a role that takes you into the heart of the business, and requires confident decision making to take ownership in a fast moving environment. It is vital we direct bookings in such a way to ensure the theatre is filled on a daily basis in line with our consultant and patient needs, and accuracy and attention to detail is upheld.

There is close engagement with the Theatre Manager and Theatre Team, so good communication is essential to anyone in this department.
