June 2008 – Moving to a dedicated hospital

Before we moved to our iconic location on Sloane Street, Cadogan Clinic was located on Duke of York Square. Moving to our current location not only meant more space, but also 5 state-of-the-art surgical theatres, an aesthetics suite and six purpose-built consultation rooms, allowing each patient’s journey with us to take place in-house and under one roof. Cadogan Clinic was the UK’s first day case only provider for cosmetic surgery.

30,000 appointments take place in our world-class hospital every year. Having all of our medical facilities under one roof means every patient works alongside a dedicated team with a comprehensive understanding of their concerns, procedures and treatment plans, developing trust and producing the best results. 

June 2014 – Industry-leading Mole Mapping service launched

Our founding dermatologist, Dr Susan Mayou has always been dedicated to increasing awareness of skin cancer and melanoma. She introduced our Mole Mapping service to provide patients with a longer-term approach to monitoring the moles on their body and identifying suspicious moles quickly so treatment can be provided.

This advancement in our dermatology treatments led to Cadogan Clinic being the first clinic in the UK accredited by the British Skin Foundation for Skin Cancer services in 2015. 

November 2019 – First Regenerative Conference hosted in the UK

Cadogan Clinic were proud to host the first ever Regenerative Conference in the UK in 2019 alongside BAAPS and the Royal Society of Medicine.

This continued the Clinic’s long tradition of innovation, with its founder Mr Bryan Mayou most well known for bring fat extraction and transfer techniques to the UK 40 years ago.

Over the course of two days, 100 world leading delegates from 40 countries gathered at the Royal Society of Medicine in London to share global best practice and the latest fat transfer and regenerative techniques in reconstructive and plastic surgery.

Live surgical procedures were performed to demonstrate these new techniques in practice, and transmitted live to support the advancement of these cutting edge regenerative techniques among a global audience.

February 2023 – Leadership rated Outstanding by the CQC

After undergoing a rigorous inspection by the Care Quality Commission, Cadogan Clinic was assigned Good ratings across all areas of the clinic, apart from Leadership, where we were rated Outstanding.

In its report, the CQC commended the clinic for its clear vision, strategy and strong leadership culture. All of these attributes allow us to continually provide industry-leading patient care, safety and outcomes. Our strong values encompass every department of the clinic and continue the ethos which Mr and Dr Mayou founded the clinic on 20 years ago.

In the last 10 years, Cadogan Clinic has won 14 awards including multiple Best Clinic awards. In our twentieth year, we have been recognised at both the prestigious Aesthetics Awards as the Best Clinic London, and the Aesthetics Medicine Awards as London Clinic of the Year and Clinic of the Year.

These awards are a recognition of our excellence and the outstanding patient outcomes and results we continue to provide.
